Day 1

10:30am – Start of the tour, Drive to and visit the train cemetery located on the southern part of Uyuni
Drive to Colchani, a small town on the outskirts of the Uyuni salt flats 30 minutes away from the town of Uyuni where the rudimentary salt factories are located and see how they process the salt.
Enter Salt Flats and drive to the first ever Salt Hotel,  visit.
Drive to the Incahuasi Island, a volcanic island covered by petrified coral reef covered by giant cactii. 30 minute hike and amazing 360° view of the salt flats from the top.
Lunch at Incahuasi Island. Later, you are free to take your time to play with your imagination and take advantage of the deep, perspective photo effect that the salt flats provide.
Head South to the Salflats to the your accommodations in a small village on the rim of the salt flats in the evening and get comfy with hot tea and warm dinner.

Day 2

9am- drive to the Chiguana Desert, walk around at Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint (semi active volcano in the distance), stop at the Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota and Honda lagoons to view flamingos.
Lunch
Traverse the Siloli Desert where ‘Arbol de Piedra’ (stone tree) and other geological formations exist. Reach the Red Lagoon in the late afternoon and photograph more pink flamingos and other Andean wildlife.
Arrive to accommodations inside the Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve.

Day 3

4am– This expedition  has a very early start with the visit  to Sol de Mañana, (Rising Sun) an otherworldly, steaming geyser field in a massive crater. Follow up with a pleasant soak in some natural hot springs. And continue visiting the reservation.
Reach the surreal Laguna Verde (green lagoon) at the foot of Volcán Licancabur (At this point, you may choose to be dropped off at the border post to board a previously arranged bus transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. Please choose this option at the time of booking if desired). Set off on our scenic drive back to Uyuni not before we make a few stops to catch some fresh air and enjoy more startling views of the region. Arrive in town late afternoon where the tour ends.

At an appropriate time return to Uyuni arriving at 18:00 hours

Price includes: English guide assistance, 2 jeeps 4WD, selected accommodations based on double/twin rooms, meals according to the program.

Price no includes: transportation to/from Uyuni, beverages, tips and others and entrances fees to national park who is about $ 30 per person.
