You cannot leave Chile without sailing on the wonderful Todos los Santos Lake, with its emerald colored waters and its surrounding forests. You can visit the world renowned Petrohué Waterfalls, that flow into a river that runs through beautiful rock formations. Also discover Peulla, a small ecological village of 120 inhabitants, which is on the route of the famous Andean Crossing. After visiting the Petrohué Waterfalls, you will then enjoy a two-hour boat trip on Todos los Santos Lake, taking in the views of the majestic Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes. However, the adventure does not end when you arrive at Peulla, as there you can choose to take part in a large variety of activities such as canopying, horse riding, and a 4×4 safari, all in a stunning setting that will take your breath away.

ITINERARY

  • 08:00 hrs. Departure from Puerto Varas. Continuation toward Petrohué, bordering Lake Llanquihue. Impressive views of Volcano Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominate the landscape. We will enter to the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park where we will visit the Petrohué waterfalls; whimsical shapes of volcanic rock, bathed by green waterfalls make the perfect picture.
  • 10:00 hrs. We will set sail to Peulla, sailing on Todos los Santos Lake. If the weather permits incredible views of Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes and Mount Tronador will surprise you.
  • 11:45 hrs. Arrival to Peulla, ecological Village, a paradise for nature lovers. Lunch (not included).
  • At this point you can stay in Peulla and return to Puerto Varas or continue the next day to bariloche
  • 14:00 hrs. We will board a bus with destination Puerto Frias. After performing the departures formalities at Chilean Customs Office,we will cross the Andes Mountainrange at 3,202 ft above sea level. We will descend by a sneaky road to Puerto Frías, navigation by Felix Frías lake, toward Puerto Alegre. In Porto Alegre will take a bus to Puerto Blest.
  • 18:30 hrs. Departure from Puerto Blest, we will begin the last navigation on Nahuel Huapi Lake, with destination to Puerto Pañuelo.
  • 19:45 hrs Arrival to Puerto Pañuelo, we will take the bus to make the final part of our trip with destination to the “Capital of the Argentine tourism”, Bariloche. City that fascinates in both winter and summer by its ski resorts, shopping, hotels, restaurants and nightlife.
  • 20:30 hrs. Arrival to Bariloche. End of our services.

This fun activity is something the entire family can enjoy and shows off Puella’s natural diversity. We’ll make our way to the Fundo Rigi, where we’ll discover a wide range of birds and farm animals. Our double-traction vehicles, Jabalí and Puma, will take us into the interior of The Andes Mountains in search of the River Peulla, which we will cross in our jeeps.

Horseback riding

This activity in Peulla is a complete horse-riding experience across farming country, traveling through Valdivian forest (incredible evergreen forest that always surprises), valleys and rivers, all within Chile’s longest-standing national park, Vicente Pérez Rosales. We begin at Fundo Rigi, where a specialist guide in ecotourism will guide us through from start to finish. The horses are trained to receive all kinds of riders, with or without experience. There are different horse-riding routes to enjoy, providing opportunities to observe flora and fauna. All in all, a great experience.

This activity is for those who are looking to discover a new adventure, sensing the excitement of flying through the native trees of the south of Chile. Our canopy experience is 800 meters long, with eight cables, nine platforms and two abseiling opportunities. Along the way, we’ll come into contact with century-old trees, including the Coigüe, a waterfall called “El velo de la novia” and a creek that flows from a lagoon in the middle of The Andes Mountains.
