Machu Picchu tour from Cruise Ship We had a most amazing 5 day tour from Manta in Ecuador, to Guayaquil, flew to Lima then onto Cusco, spent day 2 touring the Sacred Valley. The next day was our journey on the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu Pueblo, then the bus up to Machu Picchu ruins. Words cannot describe the view, absolutely amazing. Day 4 was touring Cusco with lunch at a lovely restaurant and more Inca archaeological sites. Day 5 was an early morning flight to Lima to see the sights & Pisco Sour making, returning to our Cruise Ship in plenty of time. Overall, the tour was fantastic, with every detail taken care of by Jaime. Our guide for Cusco & Machu Picchu, Luiz, was extremely knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun & I would highly recommend Patagonia Shorex for any tours in South America.

Amazing, memorable 5 days we will never forget! We had the most fabulous 5 days with 28 other passengers from the Crown Princess. Jaime, our organiser and guide from Patagonia Shorex was so good. Very experienced, organised, great fun, enjoyed a laugh, which made our tour even better. We packed a lot in, in those 5 days. We would thoroughly recommend this tour, and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. The ultimate was seeing Machu Picchu, a memory that will stay with us forever!

Patagonia Shorex and Machu Picchu the perfect combination Wow wow what can I say other than one of the most incredible experiences we have ever had. Jaime and Patagonia Shorex were absolutely incredible with the organisation of the entire 5 days, communication from the time of booking right through the process was second to none. Everything was organised perfectly and any small issues that came up he always had a plan B that worked to perfection. Incredible experience seeing Machu Picchu and every other part of the package he put together to perfection.

Cruise deviation to Machu Picchu across multiple countries Jamie from Shorex made our trip to Machu Picchu unforgettable. Every little detail was attended to including meals and entrance fees. Our trip was a deviation from a cruise and Jamie ensured he was there to collect us at the cruise terminal and pivotted at the end to ensure we got back to the ship 5 days and 2 countries later.

Traveling in Chile and Buenos Aires Jaime helped us plan a Jewish History tour in Santiago, one excursion in Puerto Montt and three in Buenos Aires. While he was responsive and followed up after each outing, there were a few issues along the way. The original pricing he provided changed when he later told us he had made a mistake, and the final cost ended up being higher than the initial quote. In addition, he booked us for a full‑day excursion in Tigre even though the tour company he contracts with only offered a half‑day option on the date we went. We did receive a refund for the difference.

The excursions themselves were very enjoyable—particularly the ranch visit and the Puerto Montt tour, even though that tour was not led by Jaime as originally planned. The Jewish History tour was conducted by a young rabbinical student after the original guide was unexpectedly unable to attend due to a car accident the night before. Aaron, our tour guide took us to the places we requested including a Blue Stone outlet where I purchased a bracelet for myself and earrings for my daughter. Overall, we had pleasant experiences; however, I would recommend arranging your own hotel accommodations, as we found substantially better rates at the same properties than those offered through Jaime.

Can't wait to go back to South America and will use Patagonia Shorex every time. Our visit could not have been more perfect. Over the course of almost a week, every single step in our visit could not have been better. Patricia, our leader, who was not only one of the nicest people we've met but could not have been more professional. Patagonia Shorex is the only company we'll use in our next visit. Very highly recommend.

PatagoniaShores, an exceptional experience. PatagoniaShores provided us with four offshore tours during our trip around Cape Horn in South America. The coordination of scheduling each event was exceptional. I had specific ADA requirements, which were met in both vehicles and by the staff. The support staff, for example, who transferred from the wheelchair to the bus was always available and knowledgeable.
The tour staff was extremely knowledgeable regarding any areas we toured. Communication was specific and timely regarding any changes. Each tour guide was knowledgeable about the area visited and the culture.
Communication regarding the arrangements of the tips before arrival was clear, concise, and set an expectation on our part, which the tour company met.
